Holiday Season and Santa Claus is coming to town

Christmas is upon us. Whether you have a stitcher in your life or you are a stitcher hinting to your family, you are sure to find something special and unique at Hedgehog Stitchery. There are new Christmas designs and kits or special threads, beads, fabric or designs to start the New Year fresh.

All in-stock items (except DMC threads) are 25% off.
In-stock items from Hearthside Craftworks (frames, scrollbars, stitching stands and the stitchers workbox are 40% off.

Santa will be passing in front of the shop again this year. You are welcome to join us for a hot beverage and treats. And watch from our porch...the best seats in the Little Green House! We are hoping that Nova's Ark (http://www.novasark.ca) is in the parade again. Amazing to see a Kangaroo hopping down the street.

In addition, this Saturday December 4th Tara Bergeron of Soul Xpression will be showing and selling her jewellery upstairs at Our Little Green House. Items will be for sale at up to 50% off! She is also offering an embellishment class for the Tara Goddess Cowl from 1 - 2:30 PM. There is still time for you to knit up yours and come and take part!

Hedgehog Stitchery is Alive and Well

The newsletters have been sparse this year as I have juggled the shop and work. It is great that so many of you keep coming by and sending friends and co-workers to the shop. It is so encouraging, and I'm so happy to be on this adventure. As always, if you are looking for something just let me know and I'll try to find it.

As a thank you the first 10 customers on Saturday will receive a gift.

Oak Boxes

I have a selection of oak boxes for your stitching treasures. They are currently $35.99, but after March 31st will be $45.99. They come finished and unfinished. If you have stitching with specific dimensions, I am now offering custom boxes, so come on in for an estimate. Check out www.hedgehogstitchery.com to see the sample.

Thanks for your interest in Hedgehog Stitchery, Vickie

Happy New Year

A new decade has arrived already. It just seems like yesterday that we rang in the year 2000. I hope you had a chance to spend the holidays with your family and friends and to relax and enjoy.

Resolutions Anyone?

Did you make any resolutions? To stitch more? or finish more of what you started? I will be finishing the poor little hedgehog who has been languishing in the shop, and then back to the brown beast aka the vase of flowers that needs the brown background finished. This is also the year that I will start one of the samplers that I love so much, using some of the beautiful hand dyed flosses.

New Year Sale

Do you need incentive to reach your resolution?

Everything in stock (except DMC floss) is 30% off?

Do you need a headstart on next year's Hallowe'en or Christmas stitching? All Christmas and Hallowe'en charts are 50% off and all Mill Hill kits for Hallowe'en and Christmas are 50% off.

The sales run from January 2nd to January 16th.

Make Way for the New

Selling off this stock will give me room to bring in some fresh spring treats, so if there is something you are interested in, please do let me know.
